Executive Biographies


Rob McGlarry

Rob McGlarry is the president of MLB Network, Major League Baseball's Emmy Award-winning TV network. An executive at MLB Network since its record-setting launch in 50 million homes in 2009, McGlarry oversees all aspects of the network's production, programming, operations, affiliate relations and business affairs.

Since McGlarry was named to his current role in December 2014, MLB Network has set viewership records, added new on-air personalities, built and unveiled new studio spaces, launched a live authenticated streaming product and added new programming to grow its schedule to 15 live hours per weekday during the regular season.

As part of the National Hockey League's groundbreaking digital media rights deal with MLB Advanced Media in August 2015, McGlarry also oversees all day-to-day operations of the NHL Network, based out of MLB Network's headquarters in Secaucus, New Jersey.

Upon joining MLB Network in 2008 as SVP, Programming and Business Affairs, McGlarry oversaw the network's programming development, business affairs and on-air talent negotiations. In 2012, McGlarry was named as executive vice president, adding oversight of affiliate sales and marketing and playing an instrumental role in the network's affiliate distribution renewals. He was later appointed EVP, Content, in 2014, assuming responsibility for all programming and production.

Since its launch in 2009, MLB Network has received accolades for its coverage of the biggest events and headlines in baseball, including the Postseason and World Series, All-Star Game, Spring Training and trade deadline. In that time, MLB Network programming and on-air personalities have been honored with multiple Sports Emmy Awards by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Before joining MLB Network, McGlarry worked at Major League Baseball from 2003-08. As VP of Broadcasting Business Affairs, McGlarry played a key role in negotiating MLB's broadcasting deals, including the landmark agreements to create and launch MLB Network.

Prior to MLB, McGlarry was an assistant to former New York Governor Mario Cuomo and an attorney at a New York law firm, where he worked on MLB matters as outside counsel. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law and has an undergraduate degree from Amherst College.

McGlarry resides with his family in New York City.


Mary Beck

Mary Beck is the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Promotion for MLB Network.

Beck, formerly Major League Baseball's Vice President of Brand Advertising and Marketing, leads the building of MLB Network's brand and oversees advertising and on-air promotions. Beck, who joined Major League Baseball in 2001, was responsible for promoting the MLB brand and supporting the marketing initiatives of all the league's departments in an effort to grow the popularity of the game.

Prior to 2001, Beck was a co-founder of the East Coast office of and also held positions for Turner Broadcasting Sales at CNN and TBS/TNT.


Brent Fisher

Brent Fisher is the Senior Vice President of Distribution, Affiliate Sales & Marketing for MLB Network.

Fisher, who joined MLB Network in 2008 as Senior Director of Distribution, Affiliate Sales & Marketing, is responsible for overseeing the relationship between the network and satellite, cable, and telco operators and for continuing to grow MLB Network's distribution.

Before joining MLB Network, Fisher spent five years in Affiliate Sales at NFL Network.

Fisher earned his master's degree in Management of Sports Industries from the University of New Haven in 2003.

Prior to attending the University of New Haven, Fisher spent four years playing professional basketball in Portugal, Israel and in the United States Basketball League.

Fisher earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 1998.


Chris Mallory

Chris Mallory is the Senior Vice President of Creative Services for MLB Network. Mallory is responsible for overseeing the graphic design and art direction of MLB Network's on-air programming, including the multiple Emmy Award-winning "MLB Tonight."

Before joining MLB Network in 2008, Mallory spent two years as the senior creative director for ESPN on ABC. Prior to ESPN on ABC, Mallory was the creative director for ABC Sports, where he produced the animation packages for every ABC Sports franchise, including Super Bowl XXXIV and XXXVII, Monday Night Football, College Football Bowl Championship Series, the Indy Racing League series, figure skating and the inaugural Formula 1 Race.

Prior to joining ABC Sports, Mallory was the art director for ABC News, where he was responsible for the production design of Good Morning America, 20/20, World News Tonight and special events, including ABC's presidential election coverage. Mallory began his career as an apprentice at NBC News in 1987.

Mallory's work has been honored with more than 30 nominations and 12 Sports Emmy Awards by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, including four while at MLB Network: Outstanding Production Design and Art Direction (2009); Outstanding Graphic Design (2009); Outstanding Graphic Design: "The Scrapbook" (2012); and Outstanding Graphic Design: Post Produced: "MLB Tonight" (2013).

Mallory earned his BFA from Parsons New School for Design in New York.


Dave Patterson

Dave Patterson is the Senior Vice President of Production for MLB Network, overseeing the look and presentation of MLB Network's studio programming and game coverage.

Patterson was previously a senior coordinating producer at MLB Network, where he worked on the network's Emmy Award-winning signature studio show "MLB Tonight" since its launch in January 2009.

Prior to joining MLB Network, Patterson spent 18 years at MSG Network in New York, where he worked as a producer and later a coordinating producer on the daily studio show "MSG SportsDesk," in addition to postgame studio shows for the New York Knicks and New York Rangers. Patterson began his career as a production assistant and as an associate sports producer at the CBS affiliate WUSA-TV in Washington, D.C., after graduating from American University with a BA in broadcast journalism.


Tony Santomauro

Tony Santomauro is the Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration for MLB Network.

Santomauro, the former Vice President of Business Planning at the Donald J. Trump/NBC Universal partnership, the Miss Universe Organization, is responsible for directing the financial and administrative services and components in order to build and grow the MLB Network.

Santomauro brings with him nine years of business planning experience while with the Miss Universe Organization, where he was responsible for all financial and strategic planning that ensured the development and growth of the company.

Prior to his work with Trump and NBC, Santomauro spent nine years as the Director of Finance for CBS Sports. During his time at CBS, Santomauro handled day to day finance and business planning functions as well as supported live special events including the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympics.


Susan Stone

Susan Stone is Senior Vice President, Operations and Engineering for MLB Network.

Stone oversees all production and studio operations as well as remote operations, such as on-site MLB Network production operations, game broadcasts, Spring Training shows and All-Star Game studio shows.

Stone most recently served as Remote Operations Executive for NFL Network for over two years. Prior to NFL Network, Stone served as Director Production Services, CBS Sports; and Director Production Management & Venue Operations, NBC Olympics.
